Where we are
Podere "Il Corniolino" is at 750 altitude meters, in the heart of the Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi (National Park). It has an enchanting view of the natural beauties of Casentino, and it is surrounded by hectares of lands with truffles, aromatic plants and secular trees originating in this place. You can arrive to Camaldoli and the Sacro Eremo (Sacred Hermitage) in only 5 minutes by car: here there is the ancient monks’ pharmacy (Antica Farmacia dei Monaci Camaldolesi). The first curative and pharmaceutical activities of this pharmacy go up to 1048.
HOW TO ARRIVE BY CAR
From the south
Motorway A1 (Exit: Arezzo)
Direction Casentino (our valley), main village Bibbiena.
When you arrive in Bibbiena, follow the directions to Soci and than to Poppi.
Then you follow the directions to Lierna and here the directions to Podere "Il Corniolino".
Mainway A2 (Exit: Firenze Sud)
Direction Pontassieve, take the "Passo della Consuma" (1050m o.s.l)
(beautiful view on the valley of Casentino).
Arrive to Poppi, and than follow the directions to Soci and Lierna and here the directions to Podere "Il Corniolino".
